2024 Children’s Summer Workshop
Aurora Community Theatre remains committed to offering quality workshops that support each participant’s growth in performance ability and confidence.

Priority Registration for the 2024 Children’s Summer Workshops is available online from March 1 - April 14. Priority Registration is offered ONLY to children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of ACT Members, at the level of Sponsor or above.
Registration opens to the general public on April 15 as space is available.
Registration will be online only.
The cost for each two-week session is $295 for the first child in a family and $275 for each sibling.
How to Register
Registration is a TWO-STEP process and both steps must be completed before your child’s registration is accepted.

Step 1
Head to https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?class=auct and “Select your class” - Session A. You will have to create an account if you don’t have one already. Work your way all the way through the registration process to payment. Once payment is complete proceed to step 2.

Program
The Summer 2024 musical will be announced soon!
Session A: Auditions July 14, workshop July 15-27 (Monday - Friday). Performances 7/26 @ 7:00pm, 7/27 @ 1:00 and 4:00pm.
Session B: Auditions July 28, workshop July 29 - August 10 (Monday - Friday). Performances 8/9 @ 7:00pm, 8/10 @ 1:00 and 4:00pm.

Each two-week Workshop will be held from 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, culminating in full on-stage performances.
Children who will enter grades 3 through 9 in Fall 2024 are invited to attend either session, with a brief audition preceding each session. The Children’s Summer Workshops will be held at Aurora Community Theatre.
In addition to two weeks of intensive daylong theatre experience, the Workshop Registration fee (see registration form) will include:

Aurora Community Theatre remains committed to offering quality Children’s Workshops in a secure environment that will protect the health of all participants while supporting their growth in performance ability and confidence. Through the Workshop’s learning process, children will be exposed to all facets of staging a performance, including rehearsals, props, costumes, makeup, singing, and dancing. We believe that involvement in our Workshops will help instill a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.
Parents are welcomed and encouraged to be involved in this experience. More information about parent volunteer opportunities will come with Workshop Confirmation Materials.
